Birdville Lady Hawks varsity volleyball team receive awards

The Birdville Lady Hawks Volleyball team racked up some big awards at the district level this season.   Here are the District 6-4A honors that were awarded to the Birdville Lady-Hawks: 

2012 District 6-4A INDIVIDUAL AWARDS: 
•District Most Valuable Player – Allie Plunk
•District Server of the Year – Tatiana Ferrari

•First Team All District: Allie Plunk, Tatiana Ferrari, Kyndall Brown, Hannah Ray;
•Second Team All District: Emily Jones, Shelby Mench, Shanice Villanueva
•Honorable Mention All District: Yana Tarankov, Darien Aretino, and Abby Reeves.

    Also, on  a personal note:  I’d  like  to congratulate this year’s  BHS Girls Varsity Volleyball team on a great season, and  without the overall TEAM WORK from the team, these awards couldn’t have been made possible.
