Fathers love letter from God

I offer you more than your earthly father ever could (Matthew 7:1)…

For I am the perfect Father (Matthew 5:48)…

Every good gift you receive comes from my hand (James 1:17)…

I gave My SON to give you forgiveness and eternal life  (John 3:16)

My plan for your future has always been filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11)…

Because I love you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3)…

For you are my treasured possession (Exodus 19:5)…

And I want to show you great and marvelous things (Jeremiah 33:3)…

I am also the Father who comforts you in all your troubles (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)…

When you are brokenhearted, I am close to you (Psalm 34:18)…

One day I will wipe every tear from your eye (Revelation 21:3-4)…

Come home and I’ll throw the biggest party heaven has ever seen (Luke 15:7)…

I have always been Father, and will always be Father (Ephesians 3:14-15)…

My question is…will you be my child? (John 1:12-13)…

I am waiting for you (Luke 15:11-32)…

Love,

Your Everlasting Father

Hell is real

I’m not going to sugar-code anything here, I’m just going to be real here.  The truth, if preached properly the way God would want you to preach it, should be offending to the majority of people.  I realize I may not be the most popular person for doing this, but I’d rather be hated for telling the truth than being loved for telling a lie, or the popular idea.  Let me remind you brethren, we aren’t here for popularity, or status.   The Bible says if you love the things of the world, the love of God isn’t in you .   There isn’t really any middle road.  There is the kingdom of  Heaven, and then.. there is Hell.   To understand Hell, we must first understand our wickedness, and the price that Christ had to pay as he took our spot.  The Bible says that God hates sinners “The boastful shall not stand before your eyes; you hate all evildoers.” (Psalm 5:5)  many people, unfortunately take lightly this reality.   We have to be brutally  honest with ourselves, though, because if we aren’t willing to do that, then we won’t realize our need for salvation.   Let’s face it, we are a sinfully deprived people, and we need Christ’s sacrifice on the cross to redeem us.   We deserve Hell, because we have sinned, and not just against one another, but against our very creator, God.  Don’t miss it. God has sent his only son to die on the cross for our sins that we might not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16).   Don’t miss it, salvation is here now.  Jesus Christ took the spot of sinners like me and you on the cross.    We aren’t saved because of what some Roman soldiers did to Christ, we are saved by what Christ did for us on that cross. We are saved because God poured his wrath out on his only son.    We can’t be a Christian without knowing both God’s love, mercies and wrath, it can’t be ignored.   Hell is real.  Hell is necessary.   What are you doing to disciple the world and lead others to Jesus Christ?

Thought on humility

Christ entered the world a King, but his kingship was reversed to most.  It signifies the popular underdog stories we often see, sometimes in sports.  “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45).  The king himself was humbled. The king of kings, Jesus Christ was born into a manger and died crucified on a cross, let this be a lesson to us all and humble ourselves.
