The Cross-A new sermon series

The cross is ultimately what unites us with Christ.  To understand the cross, one must understand sin.  The deeper our understanding of sin, the deeper our understanding of the cross is.  This is a very important doctrine to understand. If there is one key doctrine of the Christian faith, it would probably be this one.   Why is this important, you ask?  Because sin, which separates us from God’s love is what put Jesus on the
cross for our sins, yet it also reconciles and unites us with God.  cross5

Seattle looks like a Super Bowl team

The Seattle Seahawks looked like a Super-Bowl team on Monday night.   Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers didn’t even attempt to throw it in Seahawks’ cornerback once.  You could make an argument that he was player of the game.    Rodgers was limited to fewer options Thursday night, as he was rushed, sacked and intercepted by the league’s top defense.  Lets not forget about that impressively balanced offense.    Seattle quarterback, Russell Wilson went 19-28, with 191 yards for 2 touchdown passes, running back Marshawn Lynch ran for 110 yards, 2 touchdowns and had 20 carries.    Look out NFL, the seahawks have come to  play football.
