Birdville Hawks Men’s Basketball with a lot at stake on Friday night

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS:    The Birdville Hawks (15-15) will face district rival Saginaw (18-15)  in a do or die game.     – – –  The game is on Friday night, tip-off at 7:30, and it’s a neutral-site,  as it will be held at Richland High School.    In case you are wondering as you read this, tickets are: 5$ for adults, and 3$ for students.     – – –    The Hawks have  wanted to play big games, and they have, the Hawks have come up big recently, but  they need to continue that on Friday night.    Birdville needs one more push before they will make a hopeful appearance to the post-season.          I felt it should be noted that a similar, yet different scenario occurred for the Football teams at both Birdville and Saginaw during football season.
Both team’s entered the game undefeated at 7-0, and if  Saginaw had won, the Hawks would have had to face Denton Guyer in the first round of the playoffs, but it was different in the fact that both team’s were already guaranteed a spot in the playoffs, and that wasn’t going to change no matter the outcome of that game.         So to clarify, there is more at stake here for the Basketball team.
