NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora reports that free agent quarterback David Garrard has scheduled a visit with the Miami Dolphins.
Garrard, who is 34 years old wouldn’t be any more of a short-term solution for Miami’s quarterback woes. In fact, he probably wouldn’t even be a candidate to start. Garradexpects to make some noise in the free-agency market, so he’ll likely visit more than just (Miami) before actually signing with the (Dolphins).
hough that could change quickly if the team signed (former Green Bay backup QB/Current Free Agent) Matt Flynn or (former 49er’s QB/Current Free Agent QB) Alex Smith.
Flynn was at Dolphins headquarters on Saturday. Smith is there on Sunday.
Garrard’s visit is scheduled for Monday, unless otherwise.
UPDATE: David Garrard is expected to visit the St.Louis Rams after his visit to Miami (according to ProFootballTalk.com)
