Pride in belief

I must admit, often times I like many of you, let the pride of my belief get in the way and stop me from doing what I should be doing, when talking to non-believers on Twitter.   As a disciple of Christ, I’m called to do everything out of love, not anger or anything else.  It’s our Job to tell people, and God’s amazing ability to change the heart.

Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall (Proverbs 16:18).

  1. Indeed. Don’t be like a fly on fly tape. Be like the butterfly who flitters from flower to flower leaving the Word at each landing.

  2. Agreed. We won’t argue anyone into salvation. Our responsibility ends at sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. He will move in those with whom we share it in His time, when they are ready to accept it. We have to remember that we are no better than anyone else, and that we too would be lost in our sin if not for His salvation. Good post!
