Birdville (12-0) defeated Crowley (10-2) in convincing fashion. — And if there was any-doubt, Xavier Turner has it all backed up, you know, just in case. — While we’re at it, Xavier, as you know dominated Azle in what was a crazy first-round game of the playoffs. If there was ever any doubt that Hawks quarterback Justin Martin wouldn’t get back on track after an unsettling round one performance, check again, the Senior bounced back. The Hawks seemed to clear all doubts in anyone’s minds, if any by making a commanding statement at halftime, not allowing a single score from the Eagles. It was 21-0 Birdville. There was no doubt that they were the better team, that is of course, for those with even a shade of a doubt, that is. The Birdville Hawks won this game because they’re that good. No doubts from anyone, anymore, as if anyone had any, that is. 45-21, was the final.
