JOSHUA: Birdville Hawks Junior Guard Jeremy Crane felt like his team was going to bounce back and get a victory on Friday night: “I feel a win coming on” said Crane, who connected on 7-13 shots, and led all scorers with 20 points. Birdville got off to a hot-start against former Birdville assistant coach, Jeff Hudak, and the Joshua Owls. Birdville allowed just nine points from Joshua in the first-half. In the second half though, the Owls, led by the adjustments of the new head-coach were able to put on a little run in the third quarter, and got to as close as eight points, the Hawks however took back what was rightfully there’s in that game, despite the attempt in the run by Joshua, the Hawks would hang on to win this one by the final score of 49-32.
