Despite Cowboys win, Cam Newton and Panthers find identity

The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Carolina Panthers 19-14 on Sunday, to improve to 3-3 on the season, dropping Carolina’s record to 1-5, but while the Panthers stand at 1-5, they may very well be one of the better 1-5 team’s this league has seen, yep you read me wrote on that.   This is because the Panthers have had a chance to win just about every-game they have played in, that is excluding the one they did win, obviously.

– – – The Panthers needed something, they needed.. that identity that quarterback Cam Newton gave them last-season, and after Sunday’s loss to Dallas, it would seem that they have found it, well sort of, anyway.

—  About Mid-way into the game, maybe later than they had time for, Carolina found the Cam Newton that likes to paint his chest with an “S” logo, like Superman, the Cowboys defense seemed confuse, but thanks to quarterback Tony Romo, who did just enough in his own power to help Dallas win, the Cowboys didn’t have to look like complete hooligans in this mess. A mess that was cleaned up by a couple of key defensive plays near the end, at least Dallas beat one of the team’s they are “supposed” to, which is a good sign, for now, at least.
