Birdville Lady Hawks Volleyball winning, and updated district (volleyball) standings

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS:   — The Birdville Hawk’s Volleyball team is now 7-0 with a big district victory over Dunbar High School on Friday night’s game.   The Hawks though, are coming of a really huge win on Wednesday night, having defeating Saginaw High School in their own gym, putting them up to the first place in the division.    —  “The Saginaw win was HUGE for us.  It seemed like their whole football team was there cheering them on and we had to fight for every point.  That was the first game we had to play without both Tiara and Darien.  Kyndall had to step up and fill in at middle blocker.  I felt good about it though, because she came up to me before the game and said she was up to the challenge!  Its not an easy thing to do to play a position you haven’t worked on all season.  We never gave up and the kids played very well together.  The next time we face them will be the test, we have beaten them twice b/c we played them in a tournament.  Its always tough to beat a team three times,”  said Coach Rinehart
