SF Giants Blog: Wilson declares himself pain-free

Giants closer Brian Wilson admitted  Monday  that  he  did pitch with elbow pain all of  last season, and often dealt with pain in his back hip and back.  But an couple of  hours after his bullpen since pitchers and catchers reported, Wilson deemed himself  “right  on schedule”  for  Opening Day.

“It was painfree, no ailments or inflammation” Wilson said of his balky elbow, which sidelined him for much of the second half last season, “I don’t imagine there will be any hiccups”.

Thomas Brunt is just covering the Giants  for  fun, for a while? For a season?  He doesn’t know, he’ll decide.  In the mean-time, check his stuff out on the Giants, even if you aren’t a fan of them.
